One of the first hackers to release a custom firmware for the PS3 just tweeted this - "To everyone asking me about 3.56 and CFW : PLEASE STOP. We can decrypt/encrypt the 3.56 files, but we cannot sign them, so it's not so easy." So there you have it, looks like Sony is getting slightly smarter with their protection.
